Application

Used as a rubber modifier in the manufacture of rubber covering mixtures to increase the strength of rubber and cord adhesion in conveyor bands, belts and tyres production.

Appearance, properties

Light-pink to light-grey crystalline powder, combustible, ignition temperature - 162 °C. Air-dust mixtures are explosive. Lower limit of airdust explosibility - 30.5 g/m³. Decomposes at 130 °C. Extinguish with fine-sprayed water
