Application

Used:

• as an intermediate in synthesis of polymer stabilizers, dyes;
• as an oxidation inhibitor and an intermediate in the manufacture of other oxidation inhibitors for greases and in pharmaceuticals production.

Appearance, properties

Light yellow to light brown flakes or fine crystals or brown melt. Soluble in acetone, benzene, methanol, ethanol, carbon disulphide, mineral acids, diethyl ether.
