Application
As a cross-linking agent in gel-forming systems based on water solutions of polyacrylamide used for enhanced oil recovery and in dye production and cloth dyeing.
Appearance, properties
Dark-green liquid, well-soluble in water. Exhibits good kinetic and rheological characteristics: excellent filterability, initial shift gradient - 0.35 MPa/m. Freezing temperature of 29°C below zero allows to use the product in oil fields with severe winter conditions. Chromium acetate may be employed in combination with various polyacrylamide types.
